The Beacon Hospital in Dublin required an Aseptic Compounding Unit (ACU) to be designed and delivered within an existing space on their site.

Asgard Controlled Environment appointed Paul Bradley, an Aseptic Consultant, to join the delivery team and collaborate with our project designers and the Beacon Pharmacy team in developing the ACU suite layout.

 

Although the available space posed challenges for the required process flows and the accommodation of four Isolators, Paul provided valuable assistance, support and guidance to the Beacon Pharmacy team. ​Through collaborative project workshops, Paul helped optimise the use of the space, ensuring efficient material and personnel flows. Paul’s experience, knowledge and enthusiasm were key in creating in a highly functional and compliant facility tailored to the client’s brief.

The result is an efficient ACU that maximises the available footprint, and our client is extremely satisfied with the outcome. Paul was a pleasure to work with, and Asgard Controlled Environments looks forward to collaborating with him again in the near future.
